On Your Marks Networking event
The M&S Company Archive invite you to their latest event in the On Your Marks Networking Series to hear Tony O'Connor, Head of Design, Menswear at M&S, talk about the company's heritage as inspiration today.
Tony focuses on brand clarity and design to develop a strong, modern and cohesive menswear offering. He found the M&S Company Archive – a treasure trove of more than 70,000 items from the last 128 years located at the University of Leeds – the perfect starting point for researching British fashion heritage and design.
There will also be the opportunity to find out more about The Enterprise of Culture and to enjoy the vision of University of Leeds students in creating Sustainable Fashion: Next Generation, a bespoke exhibition at the M&S Company Archive.
The event takes place on Friday 6 December 2013.
