The competition brief

Credit: M&S Company ArchiveAre you up to the challenge? We invite University of Leeds students to get involved in the Sustainable Fashion: Next Generation Student Challenge, a new exciting competition for students at the University of Leeds.

As part of the University’s unique partnership with M&S, and to celebrate the project launch of The Enterprise of Culture, we are inviting students to present their sustainable approach to fashion.

The best submissions will not only be judged by an expert panel, including the Enterprise of Culture research team, but will also be showcased to public, academic and business audiences at the Marks In Time Exhibition at the M&S Company Archive. This is a fantastic opportunity to have your work reviewed by industry experts and publicly displayed.

Whether you’re a design student or have a strong interest in design, sustainability or business, we are looking for your inventive ideas about how to make sustainable fashion desirable in the future.

Entries will be unveiled at the launch event for The Enterprise of Culture on 5 December 2013, with winners announced at the evening open lecture at the Leeds Business School (The Colour Revolution: Prof Regina Blazczyk).
